Sisters, Margie (Max) Bouchard and Fran (Max) Lupardus started B & L Concepts, Inc. in 2004.
Our family has always been close. We love to get the whole gang together - sons, daughters, sisters, brothers, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and even the pets … and of course that means a lot of great food!
After our children grew up and left the nest, calls for favorite family recipes started coming in frequently. It seemed that while we were sharing recipes, conversation always turned to the people and events that surrounded them. So we decided to make a family cookbook that included not only recipes but the treasured memories that went along with them.
As the book developed, we realized it was not only a cookbook but also a journal that paid tribute to very special people and moments. To us, the vision of “Kitchen Cherubs” seemed a perfect fit for our theme of treasured memories. Soon friends and family were asking for copies of our recipe journal so that they could create keepsakes for their loved ones as well. This led us to establish B & L Concepts, Inc., a company that is dedicated to preserving treasured memories in very special ways. Our first creation was the Recipes and Treasured Memories Journal. Because of its success, we were asked to create a Christmas edition. This unique place for all your favorite holiday recipes features our kitchen cherubs in a wonderful holiday setting.
